Process Analyst Job Description: The selected individual(s) will be responsible for the following:
- Participate primarily in process design phases of the implementation lifecycle
- Work directly with clients in designing or redesigning processes
- Model business processes using best practices
- Assist customer in leveraging BPM to deliver rapid, low-cost solutions
- Contribute to project delivery including progress tracking, change control, and overall governance process
- Maintain and progress product knowledge with various vendor tools
- Gather customer requirements and align with BPM technology
- Work independently or as part of a team at customer sites
- Prepare estimates for parts of a solution
- Ensure all identified issues are communicated appropriately
- Contribute to the development of implementation methodologies, tools and techniques
- Mentor colleagues in process best practices
- Utilize iterative development methodology tools and techniques
Qualifications/Necessary Skills
- Ideal candidate will have a combination of experience as a business process specialist with deep understanding of process modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of Process Management concepts such as Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Business Process Analysis (BPA), Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) is required.
- 2-5 years proven experience in process design and implementation on-site with enterprise clients.
- Strong academic record at a competitive university is also required.
- Previous experience in management consulting is considered a significant advantage.
- Product or implementation expertise in any of the following is highly regarded: Oracle BPM Suite, Oracle SOA Suite, Tibco Staffware, IBM Websphere, Lombardi, Savvion, Metastorm, Global 360, FileNet is considered a significant advantage.
