Project Manager

Avio Consulting is seeking a Sr. Business Process Management (BPM) Project Manager to provide technical architecture and leadership in delivering world-class business solutions.

Avio Consulting's team assists in defining and architecting an organization's BPM strategy and developing solutions using market leading BPM tools and techniques. Our team provides expertise in process design, application integration, user interface development, business activity monitoring, and custom application development.

Job Description:  

The selected individual(s) will be responsible for the following:

• Manage and participate in all phases of the implementation lifecycle
• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships and manage expectations
• Assist customer in leveraging BPM to deliver rapid, low-cost solutions
• Manage project delivery including progress tracking, change control, and overall governance process
• Maintain and progress product knowledge with various BPM tools
• Work directly with teams in designing reliable, scalable, agile solutions
• Create project deliverables and documentation
• Gather customer requirements and align with BPM technology
• Work independently or as part of a team at customer sites
• Prepare estimates for solutions
• Ensure all identified issues are communicated appropriately
• Contribute to the development of implementation methodologies, tools and techniques
• Communication to customer's leadership including C-level
• Significant travel up to 75%
• Mentor colleagues in BPM best practices
• Utilize iterative development methodology tools and techniques

Qualifications/Necessary Skills Skills

• Ideal candidate will have a combination of experience as a project manager and business process specialist with deep understanding of process modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of Process Management concepts such as Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Business Process Analysis (BPA), Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) is required.
• 4+ years proven experience in solution design and implementation on-site with enterprise clients.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%
• Strong academic record at a competitive university is also required.
• Previous experience in management consulting is considered a significant advantage.
• Product or implementation expertise in any of the following is highly regarded: Fuego, Tibco Staffware, IBM Websphere, Lombardi, Savvion, Metastorm, Global 360, FileNet is considered a significant advantage.

Education

• BA/BS in Management Information Systems or equivalent preferred
