In order to realize the full potential and benefits of implementing Oracle BPM, organizations are increasingly moving towards enterprise level deployments and implementations. As the goals and objectives become more strategic, managing consistency and best practices grows increasingly complex.
Download the Avio Consulting Accelerators Overview
Avio Consulting's Accelerators leverage our experience to reduce the risk and complexity associated enterprise level deployments. Historically, BPMS initiatives have grown virally within an organization. An initial successful project leads to other teams wanting to duplicate the strategy and approach taken by the first project team. Soon, there are a number of projects focusing on implementing BPM principles without any consistency or alignment between the teams. Momentum can be lost if projects are slowed or put on hold in order to align the development efforts of the various project teams. Avio Consulting's Accelerators s are designed to provide immediate value and accelerate implementations, which results in our customer's ability to more rapdily realize the business value associated with their BPM projects.
Automated Testing Framework (ATF)
The Avio Automated Testing Framework provides the ability to run end-to-end automated tests for all processes and components within a project. Testing is traditionally a significant portion of a project budget, and the ATF framework can help to reduce testing time and the number of resources required to perform testing. Additionally, manually testing BPMS based implementations can be complex and runs the risk of not performing test cases consistently. Therefore, in order to reduce the risks associated with manual testing, significant time must be allocated which will increase the overall implementation cost. ATF helps to eliminate these risks by ensuring test cases are consistently executed and any issues are easily identified in the testing reports.
Enterprise Logging Framework (ELF)
While different logging patterns between team members or project teams may not sound significant, when an issue is identified, the ability to quickly trace and find a root cause is paramount. The Avio ELF framework enforces consistent logging best practices which represent a significant improvement to the out of the box logging delivered with Oracle BPM.
Global Exception Management (GEM)
GEM provides an enterprise level exception handling platform for handling exceptions dynamically by project or application. GEM also provides a proactive alert mechanism to ensure the key process activities are running and service level agreements are met. Out of the box Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) dashboards provide visibility into the overall health and status of the BPM platform.
Simple Automated Management for Environments (SAME)
SAME is a robust solution created to address two of the most time consuming tasks associated with an Oracle BPM environment. First, SAME provides the functionality to consistently create and manage environments by leveraging simple configuration files and automated scripts instead of the standard manual configuration. Second, SAME allows admin users an automated capability to completely deploy and administer projects within multiple Oracle BPM environments.
The Avio BPM Knowledge Base contains a wide variety of information from the evaluation of a BPM initiative through the maintenance and support of projects deployed into production.
