AVIO Consulting Releases AVIO Academy– A New Oracle BPM Training Program. AVIO’s new training program to be led by Dan Atwood, a recognized leader in the BPM market

Dallas, Texas (Aug 7, 2012) — AVIO Consulting, a leading Oracle partner, has developed a training program called AVIO Academy, aimed at meeting the growing need for up-to-date Oracle Business Process Management (BPM) Suite training. AVIO Academy will be led by industry veteran Dan Atwood, who has developed several award-winning training courses during his 13-year career in BPM.

As an Oracle ACE and Oracle BPM Certified Implementation Specialist, Mr. Atwood has been recognized by Oracle for his knowledge, enthusiasm and advocacy for Oracle’s BPM product line.  Mr. Atwood was previously director of training at both Fuego and BEA.

Under Mr. Atwood’s leadership, AVIO Academy will fill a gap in the market by focusing on the newest Oracle BPM Suite release. Thanks to its unique involvement in the Oracle Beta program, AVIO has first-hand insight into the functionality added with each release and will train students on the latest commercially-available version.

“The Oracle BPM product is rapidly adding new features and changing its existing functionality,” Atwood said.

“AVIO University will distinguish itself through agility and flexibility. Students will learn both practical knowledge and best practices essential for successful BPM projects.”

AVIO Academy will feature two tracks including a 2-day designer workshop and a 3-day developer workshop.

The BPM Designer Course is a two day hands-on workshop that provides students with an understanding of the core BPM concepts and hand-on lessons on designing and modeling effective processes. This class covers essential topics and features for business analysts using the latest version of Oracle BPM 11g. A challenging case study is used throughout the class to reinforce the key learning objectives and usage of the Oracle BPM Studio and Process Composer.

The BPM Developer Course is a three day hands-on workshop that provides students with an understanding of the core BPM concepts and hand-on lessons on designing and developing effective processes. This class covers essential topics and features for developers using the latest version of Oracle BPM 11g. A challenging case study is used throughout the class to reinforce the key learning objectives and usage of the Oracle BPM Studio.

Unlike many training courses, students attending AVIO Academy are provided step-by-step hands-on instruction and leave with real-life working examples for future reference. The workshop tracks can also be customized with lessons specifically designed to meet the unique needs of students and their BPM projects.
