Last Thursday, AVIO and Oracle held a webinar to discuss how organizations are utilizing OracleBPM to support business transformation initiatives. We were fortunate enough to have one of our clients, Watson Pharmaceutical, present a case study on how they are driving operational excellence through the adoption of OracleBPM. For the first fifteen minutes of the webinar, I spoke a bit about who AVIO is, what organizations are doing regarding business transformation, and then providing some tips on how to get started. For those of you who want to get straight to the case study, you can skip to the fifteen-minute mark in the presentation which is where Victor Duarte of Watson Pharma takes over. Victor outlined why they needed to change, how OracleBPM provided the right solution platform, and some of the lessons learned.
At the conclusion of the Watson case study, Victor and I turned our attention to the questions that had been submitted by the attendees over the course of the presentation. The questions spanned the gamut of topics from business strategy to implementation detail. All in all, I think we had some great interaction from the attendees which is always a good sign that the message was valuable and caused people to think about how they are working and operating today.
