AVIO Consulting Opens New Midwestern Office
Dallas, Texas (October 14, 2013) – AVIO Consulting, a leading Oracle business partner, is opening a new corporate office in Minneapolis, Minnesota to meet a growing need for Oracle support services in the Midwest. The new office will be managed by the former Director of Technology, Content Platforms at Thomson Reuters, Kristopher (Kris) Nelson.
The Midwest is currently experiencing increased demand for Oracle training, consulting and implementation services. AVIO President Monnie Soto said he anticipates the new office will serve a population in need of more advanced Business Process Management (BPM) technology consulting services.
“The number of businesses needing assistance with BPM projects continues to increase at a rapid pace,” he said. “Extending our physical presence into the Midwest enables us to better serve customers in the region.”
A recent addition to the AVIO leadership team, Minnesota native Kris Nelson has years of experience managing BPM projects and holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School.
At Thomson Reuters, Nelson honed implementation and software development experience with a wide variety of enterprise technologies and platforms. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters in 2005, he consulted for PricewaterhouseCoopers and served in IT management roles at U.S. Bank and Piper Jaffray.
“Delivering BPM projects and leading internal BPMS Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) implementation has given me a deep understanding and appreciation for all that Oracle BPM can do,” Nelson said. “I look forward to helping many companies achieve their business process goals in my new role.”
